Photographing a Photographer

Towards the end of 2021, I put out a call for creatives of any kind - photographers, make up artists, stylists etc. - to model for me. I wanted to work with inexperienced models, and create unique concepts based on their fashion style and personalities. This is how I met Grace. Grace is a wedding photographer and owner of Seek Grace Photography. While she's a gun behind the camera, her experience in front of it was limited. She had some gorgeous outfits that she had acquired for her engagement party and other events, so we gave them a spin to see how they photographed. I found this grassy location right near my house and knew it was a perfect set for these dreamy images. So on a super hot Wednesday, we met up and made some magic! Despite having no modelling experience, Grace was amazing at taking direction, and came up with unique poses on the fly. She was so easy to work with and the photos turned out amazingly! After two years of lockdowns, this was a stunning start to a hopeful 2022!
